Clontarf Children’s Choir

Clontarf Children’s Choir brings young voices aged 7 to 12 together to create beautiful harmonies and lasting memories. Open to children from 1st to 6th class our choir is ideal for those who love to sing and wish to explore their musical talents in a fun and supportive environment.

Through engaging rehearsals members will develop the fundamentals of vocal technique and musical literacy, while enjoying making music with their peers. Our experienced choir directors foster teamwork and confidence while introducing a diverse repertoire from classical choral pieces to contemporary hits.

Join our choir and let your child experience the magic of music and the joy of singing with friends:

No nights are dark, no days are long, while in my heart there swells a song, and I can sing. James Weldon Johnson

The choir is also afforded the opportunity to work the passionate and highly motivated educator, conductor and composer Mary Amond O’Brien as part of our visiting master classes. This experience gives students valuable insight and taught advanced singing techniques to further enhance their musical development and experiences.

Clontarf Children’s Choir is the proud winner of the Feis Ceoil Competition 2024 in the category of Cóir Aon Ghuta. This September, we will perform at the Young Platform Concert at the National Concert Hall. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to show case their talent in our special Christmas and summer concerts, presenting the skills and songs they’ve learned throughout the year.
